97. Alonso10 Rael de Aguilar(263) was born in Lorca, Marica, Spain, est 1660.(264) Alonso died 10 April 1735 in Santa Fe, New Mexico, at age 74.(265)

He married Josefa García de Noriega 24 October 1683 in Guadalupe del Paso, New Mexico.(266) Alonzo Rael de Aguilar was at Guadalupe del Paso as early as 1683, when he married Josefa (Ana) Garcia de Noriega on October 24th. He was a native of the City of Lorcua in Murica. He took part in both Reconquest Entradas of 1692 and 1693, his name appearing in so many documents as secretary of Government and War, Lieutenant General, Alcalde of Santa Fe and protector of the Indians, as to defy quoting countless sources. In 1697 he had been a mayordomo of La Conquistadora for Vargas. He died on April 10, 1735, and was buried in the Conquistadora chapel; his wife followed him on August 12 of the same year.

Their known children were: Alonzo II, Eusebio, Juan, Antonia, Francisca, who married Felix Sanchez, and Feliciana, wife of Juan Garcia de la Riva. (267)

Alonso Rael de Aguilar and Josefa García de Noriega had the following children:

child 98 i. Alonzo9 Rael de Aguilar II(268) was born in New Mexico, est 1685. Alonzo died 15 May 1745 in Santa Fe, New Mexico, at age 59.(269) He married twice. He married Tomasa Montoya ca 1709 in New Mexico.(270) Tomasa was born est 1690 in New Mexico. (Additional notes for Tomasa Montoya(271)) Tomasa died 20 May 1727 in Santa Fe, New Mexico, at age 36.(272) He married Melchora de Sandoval Martínez 9 February 1729 in Santa Fe, New Mexico.(273) Melchora was born est 1710 in New Mexico. (Additional notes for Melchora de Sandoval Martínez(274)) Melchora died 21 October 1783 in New Mexico, at age 73.(275)
